Hi folks we are at the beginning of the Maple Syrup production season and so people are heading to the Haliburton Highlands for the sweet taste of maple. and the experience of the Sugar Shack at the Wintergreen Maple Syrup and Product Barn.

Exciting news … Ducks Unlimited is opening a new chapter right here in Minden. It is having its Inaugural Banquet on Friday May 5th at the Minden Community Centre. There will be raffle sales and auctions, all starting at 6 pm with a dinner scheduled for 7 pm. All this for $80 couple or $50 single. Catering is by Grill on the Gull a fine dining restaurant in Minden..
