“Tuttle” the Turtle Is Alive and Well in the Drag River in the Haliburton Highlands!

Sammy the Snapping Turtle of Drag River Just last week one of out guests took this picture of the phantom Snapping Turtle that people see in the Drag River. Guests see him and then by the time they try to point out where is he is gone.

Well, the more than 100 year old turtle, has now been named “Sammy” by guests Bill and Inge as they were the first to capture this illusive creature on digital.

Rest asured folks, Sammy does not live in the area where we swim.
