The Haliburton Highland’s rugged beauty has drawn many of Canada’s most recognized artists including the Group of Seven and Tom Thomson. A celebration of art by artists associated with Haliburton Highlands. Featuring works by Joachim Gauthier; Isabel McLaughlin; Tom Stone; Frederick Brigden; Thomas Wesley McLean; Doris McCarthy; Ethel Curry; Frederick Challener; Herbert Palmer; Stuart Clifford Shaw and Andre Lapine., among others, from the Agnes Jamieson Gallery collection, other public art galleries and private collections.

New Sculpture by John Beachli installed in the Sculpture Forest

Haliburton Sculpture Forest, Glebe Park, Haliburton, 267 College Rd, Haliburton
Local artist John Beachli has created a new sculpture, “To Cut or Not to Cut”, for the Haliburton Sculpture Forest. John carved the sculpture out of local granite on-site during July and August. The exact location of the sculpture is identified in the new Haliburton Sculpture Forest brochure and map available at the entrance to the Sculpture Forest, Fleming College, the Haliburton Highlands Museum, the Haliburton Information Centre as well as other locations in the county. 705-457-3555
