Mike challenges us to imagine not only a society
• where the needs of all are met without depreciating the environment,
• where speculative capitol serves real need,
• where nations and regions have the ability to make decisions in the interest of their people and the environment that supports them, but to believe it’s possible to live secure, healthy lives for countless generations. We can do it, he says. The challenge is to remember we are a tremendously gifted species. Then we will be able to identify the direction in which we need to move today.
