Stewardship Series: What’s New in Wildlife Research?
Stewardship Series: What’s New in Wildlife Research?
Friday, October 30
Have you ever wondered what research on wildlife is going on in the province and even in your own back yard? New research which reveals the importance of the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker to the forest ecosystem as well as a new theory on the northern expansion of White-tailed deer will be among the highlights. After lunch, join researchers and scientists for a walk in the woods as we explore the habitat of small, large, and even some rare species found in Muskoka and Haliburton. $25/person, lunch is included. This workshop is held by the Haliburton Highlands Stewardship Council in partnership with the Parry Sound-Muskoka Stewardship Network.
