The Beaver Theatre, built in 1954, is a Minden icon and is located in the Minden Village Ontario Canada. It has reopened in June 2009 as a special events facility, presenting movies, theatre, music and art. The Beaver Theatre works closely with the Minden Hills Cultural Centre to celebrate local talent, with the goal of becoming a popular tourist destination. Why not experience a bit of local culture while visiting the Haliburton Highlands this summer. There is always lots to do while in the neighbourhood.

Sally & Jan
I can’t thank you enough for helping to make my first time up to Minden & Algonquin memorable. I found you online and was so excited to get here to see Sunny Rock. It surpassed my expectations. The wonderful breakfasts, great tips on where to visit, the poker game and the conversation made me feel so welcome. Since this is my first time out on my own, I hope you haven’t spoiled my future trips. They have a lot to live up to. Thank you again and can’t wait to come back again!!

Marvelous Retreat – so scenic and restful!

Dear Sally & Jan
What a marvelous retreat – so scenic and restful. The hospitality was warm and the breakfasts wonderful. What a party too!! Hopefully you can take time to sit back, relax & enjoy a glass of wine. We will certainly try to get back to Sunny Rock before too long.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Ken & Jean

P.S. It was a pleasure to “pedal the Player”.

So Much Richer For The Experience!

Dear Sally & Jan
Amazing how fourty-eight hours ago, we knew nothing about Sunny Rock, had never met either of you, and now, as we head home, we are both so much richer for the experience. We have enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The attention, the food, the history lesson, the insight, the conversations and the beauty of the scenery, no matter where we looked (including the roll top!) – we will never forget any of it. Sally, the photograph was icing on the cake!
Thank you both. The wisdom of your words will stay with us.

Sincerely, Lou – Rue
